About us
A small team building a quieter kind of recovery app.
RecoveryRoad is a private, on-device companion for daily check-ins, stability tracking, and the steady work of rebuilding your life — across alcohol, nicotine, gambling, drugs, pornography, gaming, food, and more.
Our mission
Most recovery apps are loud: streaks to defend, feeds to perform on, data that leaves your phone. We build the opposite — a tool that stays out of your way, keeps your journal on your device, and helps you see your own patterns clearly. No ads. No data selling. No cloud account required.
Who we are
RecoveryRoad is built by a small independent team. Our writing is led by Jared, a recovery science writer, together with the RecoveryRoad editorial team. We are not a treatment provider, and we do not pretend to be one — we build software and publish carefully researched educational guides.
How our guides are researched
Every health and recovery article is researched against authoritative public-health sources, lists its sources at the end of the article, and is reviewed for safety before publication. Articles on medically sensitive topics carry a crisis-resources banner and an editorial review note, and link to crisis resources prominently.
What we are not
RecoveryRoad is a wellness and self-help tool. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, therapy, or a crisis service. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 in the US, or see our crisis resources for help lines worldwide. Decisions about withdrawal, medication, or treatment should always involve a licensed clinician.
