RecoveryRoad publishes educational guides, product explanations, tools, and comparisons. This policy separates writing, factual source review, and clinical review. None should be inferred from a generic badge or an automatically changed date.
Who writes
Article bylines identify the publishing team or named author. A writing role does not establish clinical credentials. Authors must not invent first-hand practice, customers, outcomes, testimonials, or independent endorsements.
Clinical review
A medical-review label requires a named reviewer, appropriate credentials, an actual article-specific review, its date and scope, and permission to identify the reviewer. A general editorial team is not a substitute for that evidence.
The current review registry has no documented named clinical-review records. Health articles therefore do not automatically claim medical review. A content update date is not reused as a clinical-review date. This corrects the previous placeholder-team labeling; it does not establish that the underlying articles have now received clinical approval.
Content about withdrawal, overdose, medication, eating concerns, or other consequential health decisions needs current primary support and qualified review. Do not use a general guide to obtain a personal detox, medication, or treatment plan. See health content standards.
Sources
Prefer current primary public-health sources such as NIAAA, NIDA, SAMHSA, CDC, FDA, NCI, and MedlinePlus for relevant health facts. Link the source next to the claim and distinguish a general pattern from a prediction for one person. A citation does not turn a new inference into an established fact.
Product comparisons use official descriptions, store listings, and privacy disclosures. Provider statements are not independent security or clinical tests. Unknown values remain unknown, and current regional prices must not be invented. RecoveryRoad discloses its ownership when it includes its own product. See comparison methodology.
Updates and corrections
Change a visible update date after a meaningful content review or edit, not after an unchanged build. Revisit time-sensitive product and health statements when source facts change. Quarterly comparison review is a maintenance target, not a claim that every future review has occurred.
Keep illustrative entries and screen values labeled as examples. A customer quote needs a verified original and appropriate reuse permission. Use the corrections process to report a specific statement with its source and platform.
