Gambling recovery
A Gambling Recovery App for Your Daily Record
RecoveryRoad supports private tracking of gambling-free days, check-ins, and journal reflections. It does not block betting websites or apps, move money, or arrange self-exclusion. Use it as a personal record alongside the safeguards and support you choose.
A tracker supports reflection. A blocker restricts access.

Understand the difference before installing
A tracker records information. Blocking software restricts access to gambling services on supported devices. Self-exclusion is a separate process with an operator or scheme. RecoveryRoad does not perform either of those access-control jobs.
BetBlocker describes free website and app restriction tools. Gamban also describes blocking and progress features. Review their current compatibility and limitations directly; no blocker should be presented as impossible to bypass.
Keep a useful record of high-risk situations
Use a journal entry to note what was happening when an urge appeared: watching a match, receiving a promotion, being alone at night, or reacting to a loss. Record your own experience without assuming every person has the same triggers.
An illustrative entry might be: "A betting promotion arrived during the game. I left the screen and contacted someone I trust." A note is a record of a choice, not evidence that the app prevented a bet.
Separate avoided spending from financial recovery
Money you estimate not spending is not money recovered from earlier losses. The browser cost calculator cannot see your bank account, debt, income, or actual transactions.
Use financial records and qualified advice for debt decisions. Do not use a streak or projected savings number to decide that another bet is affordable.
Use outside support without publishing your journal
A private app does not need to be your only source of support. You can choose professional help or peer support while keeping personal notes off a public feed.
RecoveryRoad does not monitor entries or intervene in an emergency. Use crisis services directly when urgent support is needed.
Important limits
- Does not block gambling services or enroll you in self-exclusion.
- Does not monitor banking, recover losses, or give debt advice.
- Does not diagnose gambling disorder or predict future betting.

Frequently asked questions
Does RecoveryRoad stop me opening betting apps?
No. It is a personal tracker and journal, not access-blocking software. Review dedicated blocking tools for that function.
Can I use a blocker and RecoveryRoad together?
They serve different purposes. A blocking service restricts supported access; RecoveryRoad records your self-entered check-ins and reflections. There is no automatic integration promised between them.
Are money-not-gambled figures actual savings?
They are estimates based on entered assumptions, not verified account balances or recovered losses. Use your financial records for real budgeting decisions.
Will my gambling-recovery journal be public?
RecoveryRoad does not have a public recovery feed. Review its privacy policy and device-access considerations before recording sensitive information.
