Pornography-related goals

A Private Porn Recovery App and Quit Porn Tracker

RecoveryRoad is a private porn recovery app and quit porn tracker: record your own check-ins, urges, and reflections on your phone without publishing a recovery story or joining a feed. It is not a content blocker, a surveillance tool, or a diagnosis of compulsive sexual behavior.

Work on your chosen goal without turning it into a public identity.

Make the goal specific without adding a label you do not need

A personal goal can describe a behavior and its effect on your day. It does not need to make a claim about everyone's sexuality or diagnose you from a streak. RecoveryRoad is not a clinical screening instrument.

For example, a journal prompt could ask: "What was I trying to avoid or find in that moment?" You choose whether that question is useful. An app should not turn an answer into a moral verdict.

Separate tracking from blocking

Tracking records information you enter. A content blocker restricts access according to its own settings and device support. RecoveryRoad does not inspect your browsing history or block websites.

Consider the privacy, permissions, and practical limitations of any additional tool separately. Do not assume a tracker includes blocking merely because it is described as a quit-porn app.

Use identity work for more than counting days

The Rebuild workbook focuses on subjects such as self-worth, values, purpose, and goals. It gives a different place for reflection from an elapsed-time counter.

A writing example is: "What kind of relationship with my time do I want?" The workbook is self-help content, not couples therapy or a prescribed clinical program.

Keep consent and support separate from monitoring

Private journaling is not a way to secretly monitor a partner. RecoveryRoad does not promise a partner dashboard, automatic browsing reports, or a shared couples record.

For distress, relationship concerns, or behavior that feels difficult to control, seek appropriate qualified support. Do not rely on a journal entry to request a response from a clinician.

Important limits

  • Does not block or monitor browsing.
  • Does not diagnose compulsive sexual behavior or provide therapy.
  • Does not provide partner surveillance or automatic accountability reports.

Frequently asked questions

Does RecoveryRoad block pornography?

No. It is a self-recorded tracker and journal. Content blocking requires a separate service with its own permissions and limitations.

Do I need to share a streak with other users?

RecoveryRoad does not use a public recovery feed. You do not need to publish a personal account of your goal as part of ordinary journaling.

Can a partner secretly use this to monitor me?

RecoveryRoad is not described as a browsing-surveillance or partner-reporting tool. Private notes should not be treated as a substitute for consent or professional relationship support.

Does using a porn-recovery tracker establish a diagnosis?

No. Choosing to track a goal is not a diagnosis. Clinical assessment and treatment questions belong with an appropriately qualified professional.
